It appears the two most popular rivalries in golf will meet head-to-head in a made-for-TV event on TNT.
Four of golf’s most well-known players are reportedly set to face off in a 12-hole match on June 28 at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana.
Scottie Scheffler, the current World No. 1, will team up with Rory McIlroy, the four-time major winner from Northern Ireland.
Scheffler has three PGA Tour wins in 2022, including his first major at The Masters, while McIlroy has won three of the past 10 major championships.
On the other side will be the duo of Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka, two of the longest hitters on the PGA Tour.
DeChambeau is a two-time major winner, while Koepka has won four majors, including two PGA Championships.
The match will be played under a modified alternate-shot format, with each player hitting two tee shots and then alternating shots until the hole is completed.
